religion

i know this is gna sound offensive to many christians, but im gna blog it out anw.

its alright to be believing in your Gods, but please. Reply on yourself and not God. You should be doing something to your life to make it better instead of believing that God will pull you through, that God is gna miraculously vaporize all your obstacles. I mean, if you have done your best, and everything from then cannot be changed by your own efforts, then relying on God's help, or rather what i call leave it to fate, will sound reasonable. When i read posts of people not worrying about not trying their best because God is there, i tend to think that they have taken worship for God to another level -- expectation. Im not implying that God isnt gna bless you and help you tide across your difficulties, but many things that happen, that people assume are the works of God, may prove to be pure coincidence. Its all about perspectives. The first group of believers blame God when problem arises, say they oversleep for school. The next group believes that the fact that they overslept was actually a blessing by God, because if they had been on time, they might have met with even more troubles like being kidnapped or hit by a car, instead of merely a detention slip. Well these are just possibilities. Its how you want to believe. Its like making up an excuse for yourself so that you can continue believing that no matter what, God will look after you in any and every situation. And this is exactly how it leads to reliance on God, and the eventual erosion of your self-dependence and self-believe. It may then escalate into a situation whereby you dont even bother putting in effort on your own part.

If God will solve it all for you, then why do you even bother to be educated? If you truly believe that He will save you from your death bed, then why do you even have to visit doctors? If you think that God is going to lay out a path to your life, why do you even have to worry about not being able to fit into society or being unable to find a job in the future? None of us is able to place confidence in God more than ourselves.

Please guys, dont ever stop working towards your goals. Dont stop giving your best. Its good to have a religion you can believe in when all else fails, but dont ever take that privilege for granted.

ok i think i just gained alot of karma from blogging this. im not against christ. these are just my thoughts about it.
